About

Built by an engineer who was tired of the spreadsheet.

Engineers Framework started as one Chartered Civil Engineer's own project tracker, built to stop re-typing the same reference numbers and rebuilding the same registers from scratch on every job.

Why this exists

Generic project tools don't speak engineering.

General-purpose project trackers are built for software teams and marketing sprints. They don't know why a deliverable's reference has to stay unique for the life of a project, or what a proper risk register looks like once a design starts changing. Most design teams end up bolting that structure on top themselves — a spreadsheet, a naming convention document nobody quite follows, and a document control process that lives in someone's head.

Engineers Framework is built the other way round: the registers, the reference conventions, and the risk tracking come first, because that's what the work actually requires — with recognised frameworks like ISO 19650, CDM 2015, and CSM-RA available for the teams that need them, not forced on the teams that don't.

Origin

Built to run a live infrastructure delivery project, because the existing tools weren't cutting it.

Design principle

Every register is properly structured, with recognised frameworks built in where relevant, not a generic approximation.

Today

Available to any team who wants the same structure, without building it themselves.

How we work

Small team, direct line to the people using it.

01

Built from real projects

Features come from what a live delivery team actually needed next, not a generic product roadmap.

02

Standards, not approximations

Where a register follows a published standard, it follows it exactly — matrices, thresholds, and terminology included.

03

Your data stays yours

Self-hosted deployment options and a straightforward export path — see our Privacy Policy for the detail.
